There many ways to fasten parts and assemblies together. The local Chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) is presenting a technical conference on a wide range of joining and fastening techniques. These include welding, adhesive and ultrasonic bonding, threaded fastening, snap fastening among others. Representatives from some of industries best and most respected companies will be presenting both the basics and the latest state of the art approaches.
